Since its humble beginnings in 1949, Claxton Poultry has grown into a top-rated, full-service broiler producer, offering more than 350 products to retail grocers, distributors, restaurants and institutions throughout the Southeast and around the world.

Claxton Poultry is proud of the blue-ribbon chicken we produce and all the dedicated people who help make us one of the South's favorites. We currently employ approximately 1,600 workers in our processing plant in Claxton, and another 200 at our Glennville feed mill and hatcheries and our distribution center in Savannah
