WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, plugins, and themes. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create functional and visually appealing websites that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using best practices
• Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to implement website designs and functionality
• Create custom themes and plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress
• Perform website updates, including content updates, bug fixes, and security patches
• Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across different devices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites and plugins
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality and usability of websites
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients and team members

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in PHP programming language
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins, including custom theme development
• Knowledge of WordPress APIs and database structure
• Familiarity with web standards and best practices for website development
• Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
• Understanding of SEO principles and optimization techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug WordPress websites and plugins
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
